When October comes, we can all need a little light in our lives. Like Flex. Flex is a border collie boy of a little over two years. His full name is Linje Ebba Jj Jamie, but it is a bit complicated to call him, so he has the nickname Flex.
Border collies are a breed of dog that can look a little different in appearance. Some are large, others small. Some have erect ears and others flat. And there are both short-haired and long-haired models of the breed. One of the reasons for these big differences is that the breed club prioritizes function over appearance. The border collie is a herding dog and the club has decided that herding qualities are the most important thing in the breed. For this reason, it is required that both the bitch and the male need to be approved herding dogs in order for the puppies to be registered with SKK. The BC is an intelligent and attentive dog with great working ability. This is not a dog breed for you who want a couch potato and shorter leash walks. The dog needs both mental and physical stimulation, but when it gets all this, the Border Collie is a wonderful dog to have.
Flex lives in a family with children, in addition to the owner and the owner, there are two children here. "We live in a villa. Here is also my beloved dog yard, it is my sanctuary!" says our dog of the month.
"My favorite activity during the day is to train with the owner. Either by herding in the sheepfold or practicing pulling with the bike and if it is summer I like to swim" says Flex and continues "I like to get praise from the owner. I think it is better than a toy as a reward. But if it is a toy reward then it is a ball that counts, because balls of all sizes are fun." The owner tells me that Flex has a favorite position and it is when she says between and he sits between my feet. Flex explains "I sit on my butt, with my front paws in the air and lean on the owner's legs while she scratches my stomach, so lovley!"
"I like to hide when I'm sleeping," says Flex. "It can be either behind the sofa or under a bed. But my favorite place is in the hallway, under all the hanging clothes, because no one can see me there."
