FOR THE DOG IN THE CAR

We often get asked if our canvas cages fit in the car. Our answer is no. Yes, it certainly fits. But no, it is not a car cage. It is made of fabric and does not hold up very well in a crash. And there are actually quite a few rules and laws to follow when it comes to traveling with a dog in a car. At the Swedish Board of Agriculture you can read more about what applies when transporting dogs. In addition to the fact that it can be downright dangerous to have a dog loose in the car, there can also be expensive fines if the police stop you.

Small car cage that is crash-tested

A good transport cage is 4Pets Caree. And as the icing on the cake, it is a dog cage that you can have inside the car. On the car seat! This way you have your doggie close, but still safe. Travel safely with your dog in a dog cage that does not rattle. We firmly believe that this is the thing that many small dog owners have been longing for. A cage that makes the dog travel safely, but still in the car. Caree is a crash-proof dog cage, which makes the dog travel safely and comfortably - but it also makes everyone else in the car travel safely too!

Our range also includes a unique car cage that is foldable. We are pretty sure that you have never seen such a type of dog cage. The Origami car cage is also crash-tested and comes in several different sizes.

Travel safely with a dog in the car

There are also other ways to make car travel safer. For example, there is a crash-tested car harness that you then attach to the regular car seat. This way, the dog can sit on the seat, but still be fastened with a seat belt. We also have a cargo grid from MIMsafe in our range. Just like all things from MIM, it is good quality and the VarrioBarrier dog grid is of course crash-tested.

Other things that can be good to have when traveling with a dog

Are you worried about the interior of the car and want to reduce the amount of dog hair that gets stuck everywhere, then a luggage cover could be the thing. The Royal dry mat is good for a lot of things and having it in the car is definitely not a bad idea. The dog lies nice and soft and the dirt stays on the carpet. And when it's hot and you're sitting with the fan on to cool yourself down, wouldn't it be nice if your dog could also cool off? Check out the cage fan and the freezer lamp-like accessory.

Are you looking for a fresh air hook, so-called ventilation hook. We have that too, the tailgate hook is available in three sizes. And when it's hot outside, a silver cloth can also be great to have to bring down the heat in the car. But also remember that no dogs should be left in the car when it's sunny and hot.
