As an additional accessory to make the cage fan more useful on hot summer days, you can buy an ice pack that makes the air even cooler. The cooling system consists of a reusable cooling element that is easily placed behind the fan. When the fan blows air through the cooled element, a cooling effect is created that makes the environment in the cage more comfortable for the dog. The blue block works much like a traditional ice pack that you keep in your cooler bag. Let it freeze for at least four hours before use. After that, the cooling system helps provide cooler air for up to two hours. And after use, just freeze the blue ice pack again. No matter how cool it is with a cage fan and cooling system, it can still get too hot for your dog in the car very quickly. Therefore, do not leave your dog alone in the car when it is hot outside.
