Are you happy with your regular dog leash, but just want a little more cushioning if your dog pulls on the leash or suddenly jerks. Then this expander is a convenient alternative to buying a whole new bungee leash.
The bungee extender is approximately 45 cm long in the resting position and can flex out to approximately 63 cm.
At one end there is a loop where you attach the hook from your regular leash and at the other there is a light aluminum hook that attaches to the dog's harness or collar. The elastic band creates a soft cushion when the dog pulls or reaches the end of the leash. This can make the walk a little more manageable for both dog and handler.
The extender works great with regular everyday leashes, but can also be used with longer leashes and trail lines.
WHICH WIDTH SHOULD I CHOOSE?
The elastic leash extender is available in two different widths; 15 and 20 mm. Which version is best for you and your pooch depends, of course, not only on the size of the dog but also on how much force it puts into the leash.
15 mm has a softer flex and is best suited for smaller dogs or if you want the extender to give in relatively easily. 20 mm provides more resistance and is therefore often better suited for larger or stronger dogs, or if you want a slightly stronger bungee effect.
