This is a type of harness that you attach around your dog's mouth, like a head harness. It does not affect the dog's ability to open its mouth or drink water, but the patented design is only there to prevent leash pulling. It is an anti-pull harness attached to the dog's head. By using the Halti head collar, you can train your dog to go for walks without pulling on the leash. The noseband helps to gently guide the dog and steer in the right direction. And once your dog has learned, you can slowly phase out the halter and switch to just using a collar or harness. Halti is threaded over the dog's nose and fastened behind the dog's head. You then attach the leash to the ring at the bottom of the halter. When the dog pulls, the strap around the dog's nose will tighten, causing the dog's head to turn to the side. This is an effective way to stop the pulling without making it uncomfortable or painful for the dog. When the dog stops pulling, the strap will loosen again. Halti headcollar is a head harness that is designed with the dog's comfort and safety in mind. The noseband is padded to make it softer and more comfortable on the dog's nose. There are also reflectors along the nosecollar to increase the dog's visibility when it is dark outside. The head harness is adjustable around the neck and there is also a buckle here so that you can easily take the Halti on and off the dog. Halti nosecollar has a safety device with a pistol hook that you attach to the dog's regular collar. The nosecollar is available in five sizes and fits everything from corgis and dachshunds up to Labradors and Newfoundlands. Below is an estimate of which breeds fit in the different sizes.
