Not worldly thick, but still warm and comfortable. Here is the dog jacket, which is made from a mixture of merino wool and polyester, the best when you want a light coat that stays in place while allowing the dog to move freely.
Wool is an excellent material for clothing in our Nordic climate. The wool absorbs moisture without feeling wet or cold for that matter. The polyester, on the other hand, is quick drying and durable. Together, it becomes a dog jacket that keeps your dog warm while the material breathes and is moisture-reducing.
The dog coat is pulled over the dog's head and has a large chest area that you fasten on the back. There is a protected opening which allows you to use a harness and leash under the coat.

In order for the wool jacket to fit well on your particular dog, there are several adjustment points. There are two drawstrings at the neck, which means you can tighten them so the dog doesn't get snow in and get cold around the neck. The cover has leg straps, which means that the wool jacket stays in place even when the dog moves. The jacket is designed to cover the dog's large muscle groups and the surfaces exposed to wear are additionally reinforced with softshell.
This functional and user-friendly coat is perfect for chilly autumn days and early spring. But it is also suitable for use in winter if it is not unreasonably cold. It's not the warmest dog jacket, but for most dogs moving, this coat is still warm enough for winter use.
If the jacket becomes dirty, it may be wise to rinse or brush away before the stain penetrates and becomes more difficult to remove. Hand wash is recommended, but if you want to wash in a washing machine, you should use the washing machine's wool programme.

The measurement refers to the dog's back length. Measure the length of your dog's back from the shoulder blades to the base of the tail. If your dog is between sizes, it is recommended that you go up a size.
