The retriever leash is the classic rope leash where the collar is at one end. Using aluminum loops, you can easily adjust the size of the collar.
Thanks to the fact that there are two aluminum loops, you can set both the maximum and minimum dimensions of the collar. This way, the dog leash does not become a complete choke like traditional retriever leashes on the market. When you adjust the loops, keep in mind that the collar should fit tight enough so that your dog cannot back out of it, but at the same time large enough to make it comfortable for the doggy.
The leash should also be placed on the dog so that the collar hangs loosely if the leash is slack. An easy way to keep track of the collar is to make the leash in the shape of a P when you put it over the dog while keeping the dog on your left side.
