When the dog is working searching for a scent and needs to work undisturbed without you disturbing it, then it can be good idea to have a longer leash. And when the doggy on the walk wants to go a little further into the ditch to sniff, then it can also be good with a slightly longer leash. There are many times when a long leash can be useful. This colorful and comfortable dog leash is available in two different lengths; three or five meters.
The name hexa comes from the fact that it has a pattern of small hexagons. The pattern gives the leash a edgy look, but it also gives you a good grip. This long leash is made by us here in Bollnäs.
Another advantage of this nosework leash is that it remains supple and soft regardless of temperature and weather; it does not become stiff from cold nor slippery from moisture. Then add that it is a light weight, which is great because then the leash interferes even less.
The fact that the leash has no handle is something that is appreciated in nosework, it reduces the risk of the handle getting stuck and makes it easier for you to let the leash slide. Because the hexa leash is made of water-resistant PVC, it is easy to wash clean, and in addition, the rope neither molds nor smells bad.
The carabiner is made of aluminium, which contributes to the light weight, while it is also hard-wearing and durable.
The dog leash without a handle is suitable for both large and medium-sized breeds, and among our customers there are dog people who train both dog searching and nosework or use the leash when training young dogs in herding.
