Have you ever wished that you could quickly shorten the leash on a walk and get your dog close to you? It's as easy as can be with a guard leash.
The big difference between a traditional dog leash and a guard leash is that the latter has two handles. The usual one at the end of the leash and an extra one that sits near the hook, i.e. at the dog's neck.
With a guard leash, you can keep your dog at a normal distance so that the dog can smell and roam a bit away from you, until a situation arises when you quickly want the dog close to you. By grabbing the front handle, the leash automatically becomes shorter and the dog will be kept close to you.
That extra handle can be good to use at dog meetings and you want to hold your dog steady. Or why not when a cyclist whizzes by or in tight urban environments where you quickly want your dog close.
Hexa is made of water-resistant PVC, which makes it easy to clean and it also doesn't smell bad if it gets wet. The name hexa comes from the fact that the leash is patterned with small hexagons, which also help to give you a better grip.
This is a soft and flexible leash that is nice to hold and is also light in weight. Another advantage of the hexa leash is that it doesn't get stiff from the cold or slippery from the rain, but remains the same soft flexible leash.
Our guardian leashes by us here in Bollnäs. This means that you can also choose how the leash should look. You choose the color, width and hook. And because the leash is made after your order, it can take an extra day before the leash is sent from us. We usually have time to manufacture the same day, but sometimes it can take an extra day. And because we hand-make your guard leash, the length may not be accurate to the millimeter.
HOOKS, WIDTH AND COLOR
Hooks:
- bolt snap. The classic leash hook. Functional and easy to handle. Silver, black, rainbow or rose gold. About 7 cm.
- aluminium carabiner. Lightweight, safe and functional. Black, gold or silver. About 7 cm.
- Swivel snap hook. Quick to release with quick release. Easy to handle with one hand and works even with gloves. Weighs a little more. About 6 cm long.
- twistlock. The option for those who are afraid of dropping the dog. It cannot be opened without using a two-handed grip. Gold, black or silver. About 8 cm long.
Length and width:
The rope is 2 meters long and is available in three different widths (10, 16 and 20 mm).
Colors:
Black, purple, olive green, bright pink, bright green, blue, turquoise, orange, red, pastel yellow, pastel pink, mint green and gold.
