Just as the name suggests, the Sulo protective bootie protects the dog's paws and footpads. Partly against cold surfaces such as snow, and partly against warm asphalt. But the thick black sole also protects against sharp objects such as glass.
The shoe shaft is made of flexible polyester oxford fabric that is soft, which means that it follows the dog's movements. The lower part is made of TopGrip from Finnish Jokasafe. It is a durable material that is cut-resistant and flexible. Because the dog socks have a good grip, they are also suitable for use as non-slip socks.
The shoe is unlined and therefore will not warm the doggy. And keep in mind that when the weather is colder, due to the doggy's body temperature, moisture can collect in the shoe.
This is an updated version of the Kura dog shoe. And just like its predecessor, Sulo is light in weight and at the same time durable. The shoe can be opened all the way down to the paw, which makes it easy to get the shoe on the dog's paw. Through the double Velcro strap, you can regulate how tight you want the shoe to sit.
These dog socks are suitable for the pooch who does not want to get clumps of snow between his toes or to avoid getting road salt into the tread pads. But they can also work if your dog has an injured paw that needs to be protected from dirt. The dog shoe is not waterproof, as it has a Velcro opening along the entire length of the shoe shaft.
FinNero SULO Protective booties are sold in packs of two. An advantage of this is that you can choose different sizes for the dog's front and back paws.
Hand wash is recommended.
