Here is a tall dog bowl that works as a slow feeder, great for distraction, enrichment or just for fun. The mug is suitable for different types of food, both dry and wet, as well as sweets, vegetables or perhaps peanut butter or yoghurt.
It is the Polish company Fiboo that made this snack pot. And unlike many other food activation products on the market, the stuff from Fiboo is made from recycled PET bottles - which also means they can be recycled again.
Fiboo Snack Fibeek, which is the full name, can be frozen. So why not mix up something yummy and put it in the freezer. Bring out when it's warm and let the dog cool down while he gets to lick the treats.
The cup has a grooved inside and a bottom that is not completely smooth. This makes it a little trickier for the dog to lick the food. Which is also the very point of a slow bowl.
Serving the dog either a full meal or snack in an activation food bowl promotes slow eating. Licking is soothing while stimulating endorphins that make the pooch happier.
The shape of the tall bowl also makes it a bit difficult for the dog to reach everything on the bottom, so it may take a while for the doggie to lick everything clean. Presumably the dog will carry and roll the mug on the floor, but since it is made of soft plastic, it will hold up well to that treatment.
However, keep in mind that it is not a toy, so our tip is that your dog may only use Snack Fibeek if you are nearby.
