Here, the balance balls are like great to train the dog's balance, coordination and body control. In addition to the fact that the half balls are good for the dog's physical training, it is also an easy and fun way to build cooperation. Works just as well as wellness as well as rehabilitation training.
K9 workout half balls are the long name, we simply call it half balls. So what is a half ball then? Well, that's exactly what the name implies - half a balance ball. The balls, which are sold in two packs, are suitable for most dogs regardless of activation degree, but are often used for physically active dogs that need to train muscles and joints that are a little harder to access. Our customers include agility dogs as well as working dogs, but show dogs and companion dogs also use the half balls.
There are basically as many exercises as you can do with the half balls. Stand with only the front legs of each ball, only the hind legs on, only the left / right side of the balls. Give the dog a reward from different directions so the doggie can train to find his balance without falling off.
The half balls from Swedish K9 Design are grooved on the top, which gives the dog a better grip. By training with the half balls, the dog strengthens his toes and wrists. Balance ball training can also be a good form of exercise to reduce the risk of osteoarthritis in the toes, but is also suitable for the doggy who has osteoarthritis.
The half balls are delivered inflated, nipple included so you can easily pump in more air as you go. To fail, the hemispheres must not be completely air-filled. Maximum weight: 150 kg.

Keep in mind that there are an incredible number of muscles that the dog has to work with and even if the exercise looks simple, it requires a lot of the doggy both physically and mentally. We therefore recommend short training sessions.
When rehabilitating injured dogs, we recommend that the dog be trained in consultation with a dog physiotherapist or other medically knowledgeable staff.
