Here is the XL size of Fitbone that is suitable for larger dogs or perhaps for smaller dogs who want a larger leg to balance on. Regardless of whether the doggy and you train agility, nosework, hunting or for that matter only take walks, the balance leg is a top gear!
With the balance ball or the balance leg or perhaps the balance ball that has the shape of a dog bone, the dog trains incredibly small and important things. The doggy gets better posture, stronger body and improved coordination. And as a finishing touch, it is a fun training that provides increased cooperation between driver and dog.
Fitbone, which comes from the American company FitPAWS, has two different surfaces to fit most dogs and surfaces. The leg can be inflated and made easier or harder for the dog to stand on, pump included.
There are basically how many exercises you can do with the K9 Fitbone. Stand with just the front legs, only the hind legs on, all four legs on (depending on the dog's size). Give rewards from different quarters so the doggie gets to work out to find his balance without falling off. Keep in mind that there are a lot of muscles that the dog can work with, and even if the exercise looks simple, it requires a lot of the dog's body and bud. We therefore recommend short training sessions. When rehabilitating injured dogs, we advise that the dog is trained in consultation with a dog physiotherapist or other medically knowledgeable staff.
