OBLONG BALANCE BALL FOR DOG TRAINING
- Fairly flat and large balance ball
- User-friendly
- Pump included
When you want to train your dog's balance and strength, the balance ball can be a good training tool. Duodisc is exactly what the name says, two balance discs that fit together like a kind of Siamese twins.
The duo disc is a fairly low balance ball, which can simplify training, especially for the owner. But it is still both physically and mentally tough training (for the dog). Unlike a regular round balance disc, the duo disc is wider but at the same time flexible. The oblong shape makes the surface quite large and easy for the dog to stand on. Small and medium-sized dogs can stand with all four paws on the disc, while large dogs can fit two paws at a time, or two balance balls are needed.
FitPAWS DuoDisc has two different knobby structures, one side with slightly larger knobs and the other side with smaller spikes. The advantage of these surfaces is that they stimulate nerves in the dog's paws and provide increased awareness of what the dog has in its paws.
The point of balance ball training with your dog? First, it is an easy way to socialize and build communication. But beyond that, the training is good for the dog's torso and posture and also self-confidence. With the balance ball, your dog trains muscles, body control, balance, coordination and stability. All the things that your dog benefits from to have a good and sustainable life.
By varying the amount of air in the disc, you can make it easier or more difficult for the dog. Pump included.
SIZE AND COLORS
The double balance disc is about 61 cm long, about 33 cm wide and about 7 cm high.
Color: blue.
HANSESGÅRDEN RECOMMENDS
Although the balance exercises look simple, they are tough exercises. There are many muscles that your dog works with, so we recommend short training sessions with the balance ball.
Do you have an injured dog and are planning to use the counter for dog rehab? To train your pooch correctly, we suggest that you talk to your dog physiotherapist or other medically knowledgeable personnel before you start training.
