The dog was once a wild animal and some of the characteristics that the wild dog had are still there. Maybe that's why the dog likes to chew on reindeer antlers. A natural product without additives or artificial flavors, but is just reindeer antlers.
This reindeer antler comes from the Finnish company Pala, and the reindeer antler itself comes from reindeer from Finnish Lapland.
Reindeer antlers are very hard. This means that this chewing bone will last a very long time. But it is also something that you as a dog owner should take into account when you choose to give your dog a reindeer antler to gnaw on.
Another advantage of using reindeer antlers as chew bones is that they do not splinter into small pieces that get stuck in the dog's teeth and they are not sticky either, which means that no shards get stuck on carpets, furniture or in the dog's fur. Reindeer antlers are also rich in calcium, phosphorus, glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, which are good for the dog's joint and bone health. Then add that the chew bone is completely odorless, so it will not smell when the dog lies down and gnaws on the bone.
Since reindeer antlers come from reindeer, each chew bone is completely unique in size, color and shape. This is also why Finnish Pala has chosen to sell reindeer antlers by weight and not by length. Some reindeer antlers are short and thick, while others are long and thin.
