MUSH Vaisto freeze-dried is a complete food that has the same nutritional value as the fresh BARF alternatives available. But with one big difference; it is easier to store as it can be at room temperature. The gentle drying not only preserves vitamins, enzymes and proteins, it also ensures that the taste and nutritional content remain at their peak.
This freeze-dried version of dog food can therefore be the solution when you are on the move and do not have access to a freezer. A package of Vaisto is easy to take with you, partly because it takes up little space but also because it is freeze-dried. Put it in your dog's food bowl, add a little water and let it stand for a few minutes and then give it to your dog.
BARF stands for biologically adapted raw food, meaning that the contents are composed of meat, organs and bones. Or as MUSH themselves explain it;
"we have simply helped to mix the ingredients together in the right way and made a complete food in a convenient format that is very easy to use. BARF in a quick format, so to speak. Just as nutritious, just as species-adapted as self-composed BARF. Only much easier."
There are three different animal species here, which means that the dog food contains the amino acids, vitamins and minerals that your dog needs. The complete food is 100% natural and grain-free.
To make it easier for you to know which variety you usually buy, MUSH Vaisto is color-coded. Here is the green packaging where the dog food is made from beef, pork and chicken and the blue packaging which contains beef, turkey and salmon.
Green can be a good start when the dog tries raw food for the first time. It is kinder to the stomach because there are fewer bones and instead more beef tripe and vegetables. Green can also be a good alternative for sensitive stomachs or senior dogs that have a slower digestion.
MUSH Vaisto in blue packaging has a good balance of fatty acids, which makes it ideal for dogs with fur or skin problems. It is an easily digestible alternative that is also low in calories.
As always, the amount of food your dog needs to eat is individual. However, as a general guideline, the daily amount of MUSH Vaisto freeze-dried should be approximately 1% of your dog's weight.
TAST AND SIZE
Available in two different varieties: blue and green.
Blue is based on beef, turkey and salmon. Contains 8% bone and 5% liver.
Green is based on beef, pork and chicken. Contains 6% bone and 6% liver.
Available in 250 gram and 800 gram packages.

Analytical constituents: protein 41.1%, fat 43.4%, calcium 1.7%, phosphorus 1.4%, moisture 5.8%, crude ash 5.6%, fiber 3.8%. Energy 567 kcal/100 grams.
Blue:
Beef 47% (stomach, meat, lung, heart, liver, cartilage), turkey 38% (meat, bone, cartilage), salmon 10% (salmon with bone), vegetables, fruits and oils 5% (broccoli, lettuce, apple, carrot, cold-pressed sunflower oil, camelina oil).
Analytical constituents: protein 42.4%, fat 42.5%, calcium 1.8%, phosphorus 1.6%, moisture 5.7%, crude ash 6.8%, fiber 2.2%. Energy 558 kcal/100 grams.
The meat comes from the Nordic countries. The vegetables come primarily from Finland and secondarily from other European countries.
