Smaskens is our own reward sausage, and it is very popular with dogs and their owners. Puppies like Smaskens because of the taste and dog owners because it does not stick and crumble, and because it can be made in just the right size pieces.
The candy sausage has a consistency similar to liver pâté, so quite firm yet without being dry. Cut the sausage into smaller pieces and use as a reward during training or as an extra good moment in everyday life. And one advantage of making small pieces is that you can reward your dog often.
Smaskens belöningskorv is made in Belgium and the ingredients here all come from EU countries. The mini sausage contains a full 92% meat. There is only one protein source here, which comes from either lamb, rabbit or deer, depending on which flavor you choose. This makes Smaskens' reward sausage a monoprotein dog treat. The treat sausage is also gluten-free, but is not considered grain-free because rice flour is a grain.
The dog sausage is stored in a cool, dry place. Once opened, store in the refrigerator and consume within 5 days. Can be frozen.
