From Swedish Back on Track comes the Cool on Track bandana, a smartly designed scarf that helps cool your dog on hot summer days. Do you like to put something cold on your neck when it's hot? That's exactly what the cooling bandana is, but for dogs.
The Cool on Track material is activated by soaking it. Then wring out the excess water and the bandana is ready for your dog. When the water evaporates, it helps create a nice and pleasant cooling effect. Back on Track states that the temperature can be lowered by about 6 °C.
The bandana is soft and lightweight, which makes it comfortable for the dog to wear without restricting the dog's movement patterns. Great for active dogs, or for seniors who have a hard time in the heat, or for doggies who appreciate a nice cool breeze.
The ventilated mesh fabric helps to let air circulate, which is good for evaporation. And as soon as the fabric has dried, you can soak the bandana again and again and again.
The bandana is available in four sizes and has a large, sturdy Velcro strap. This means that it can be adjusted in size so that it fits well on both large and small dogs.
The Cool on Track bandana contains no chemicals and does not need a freezer to activate.
When the scarf is not in use, it is recommended that it be stored flat. It should not be folded or bent when dry, because then the fabric can crack. The cooling effect remains even if the fabric cracks, but on the other hand, the function may be impaired.
When cleaning, hand wash at 30°C and then let dry flat.
