Here is a muzzle that is designed to fit dogs with wider skulls, such as a Rottweiler or Staffie or Mastiff.
Many people associate a muzzle with an aggressive dog, but it doesn't have to be that way. By putting a muzzle on your dog, you reduce the risk of conflicts. A muzzle can also make it easier when you go to the vet or when you travel on public transport or in situations where the dog can become stressed.
The Wide fit muzzle from Baskerville is exactly as the name suggests; a wide muzzle. It is not exactly easy to find muzzles for dogs with wider noses and heads, but now you don't have to look any further.
The muzzle is made of durable thermoplastic rubber (TPR). This makes it soft, durable and hard-wearing. It is hard in the lengthwise direction, while it is softer laterally. The muzzle is not so tight that the dog cannot open its mouth, so it does not prevent the dog from drinking or panting.
The Baskerville Wide fit muzzle can be reshaped to fit your dog. You can easily do this by placing the muzzle in warm water for a few minutes and then gently kneading it with your hands. The muzzle will eventually return to its original shape, but then you just have to heat it up again and reshape it.
The inside of the muzzle is padded at the top, which means that it lies softly against the bridge of the dog's nose without chafing. There are two adjustable straps that can be adjusted so that you can adjust the muzzle so that it fits securely and well on your doggy.
