Here is a padded back panel that makes it soft for your back, the shoulder straps are wide and the sides are ventilated to increase airflow. The backpack also has a chest strap, which distributes the weight more evenly. On each short side there is a pocket for a water bottle. The separate storage bag that you strap on the outside of the dog backpack itself is not only practical because it can help you bring what you need with you. It also provides extra support for the dog, which makes the dog sit even more comfortably. There are also smart features here to ensure that your dog is comfortable. HOW DO I GET MY DOG TO SIT IN THE BACKPACK? Our tip is that you train your dog before it's time for your first trip. In order for the dog to feel comfortable in the backpack, it needs to get used to it. Start training in a quiet home environment and have lots of treats nearby. Open the backpack fully. K9 Sport Sack recommends that you start by threading the dog's front legs through. Then fasten the buckle at the neck, so that the dog cannot back out of the backpack. If you have a puppy or young dog that has not quite grown, or if the dog does not quite reach over the edge well, you can try putting a pillow in the bottom of the backpack.
