From the American company K9 Sport sack comes the Kompanion dog backpack. It is not a backpack that the dog should carry, but a bag where you can carry your dog.
A dog backpack makes it possible for the dog to come along even when its own legs need to rest, for example on longer walks and excursions. Perfect when you want to continue the adventure together and let your best friend go with you the whole way.
K9Sport sack has been manufacturing backpacks for a long time and the Kompanion is the newest model. The back is designed to give both you and your dog good comfort and support, whether you are out on a longer walk, traveling or on new adventures together.
With improved weight distribution, extra support and smart features, Kompanion is developed for high comfort for both you and your dog. The back also has a roomier fit to suit more types of dogs.
The dog backpack has ergonomic lumbar support straps, a chest strap and a removable hip belt that help distribute the dog's weight, making it easier for you to carry. The chest strap can also be adjusted in both length and height, so you can set it so that it fits you well.
The padded shoulder straps provide a more comfortable feeling for longer trips and the reinforced seams also provide extra durability. The short sides are ventilated with mesh fabric, which increases airflow and reduces the risk of moisture. The short side also has two pockets for dog treats, a mobile phone or perhaps a water bottle.
At the top there are soft neoprene leg openings, which help the dog to ride more comfortably when sitting in the backpack. There are also two straps that run along the back of the bag, which you can adjust to your dog's body. But it's not just comfort that's important, but also safety. That's why the dog backpack has a carabiner that you attach to the dog's collar to ensure that the doggy stays in the backpack.
Other features of the Kompanion are that it has a flat pocket on the underside of the back. Suitable for keys, mobile phone or anything else that doesn't need a lot of space. There are also loops on the underside where you can hang simpler objects.
For those of you who like longer excursions, there is a smart detail, namely a special pocket here that can be used for a hydration bladder or cooling insert. The Kompanion also has an integrated opening for a hydration hose and the option to pull the hose along the shoulder strap.

HOW DO I MAKE MY DOG COMFORTABLE IN THE BACKPACK?
We recommend that you let your dog get used to the backpack in peace and quiet before you set off on your first adventure. Start at home in a safe environment and have plenty of treats close at hand, so that training becomes a positive experience. Open the backpack completely, and start by carefully threading the dog's front legs through the openings. Then fasten the buckle at the neck so that the dog cannot back out of the backpack. Make sure your dog is properly and comfortably seated before you close the zipper. Take it step by step and let your dog get used to it at their own pace. cushion to the bottom of the backpack.
SIZE AND COLOR
Available in three sizes: small, medium and large.
Small fits dogs with a back measurement of 33 - 41 cm.
Medium fits dogs with a back measurement of 43 - 48 cm.
Large fits dogs with a back measurement of 51 - 56 cm.
The measurements are between the dog's neck (where the collar is) and the base of the tail.
Tip - if your dog has a wider body shape, such as a French bulldog, the backpack may feel tight. It may therefore be wise to go up a size to accommodate the dog and instead add a
Booster block in the bottom.
