Even dogs can need shade and coolness when it's hot and sunny in summer. Here's the flexible dog coat that keeps your pooch cool. The function is the same as for silver shade net, the glittering aluminum mesh reflects the sunlight and at the same time allows air to flow through the fabric. It gives a cooling feeling, much like being in the shade. As an example, Chillybuddy states that on a day with an air temperature of 32°C, the vest can lower the fur temperature from 64°C to 38°C.
The Chillybuddy Cooling jacket has a unique double effect. In addition to the effective shade that the silver fabric provides, it also works as a cooling vest. The vest is lined with cotton mesh, which you can soak in cool water to get a cooling effect. So by soaking, you can lower the temperature by a few more degrees.
The result is a double-acting silver coat that keeps your best friend cooler and more comfortable when it's hot.
Put the silver jacket on your dog when walking in the heat, but keep in mind that even if your dog gets cooler from using the jacket, it's still warm in the air and the activity level should therefore be at a reasonable level.
The aluminum shade coat has an opening at the back of the neck, which allows you to tuck a leash in and attach it to the dog's collar. The three largest sizes have also a yellow Velcro strap at the opening in the neck. This strap can be attached to the dog's collar to make it easier to keep the coat in place.
On the front of the chest, you can adjust the jacket's chest width using a Velcro strap. Around the waist there is a wide elastic and colorful strap that is attached to the coat with Velcro. The strap is completely removable and can be adjusted at both ends to fit the dog's body.
If you have a narrow dog, the waistband may be too large. So either let the blanket hang a little loose or you can extend it with more Velcro.
The coat is available in six different sizes based on the back measurement. So regardless of whether you have a small poodle, bischon frise or, for that matter, a large Labrador or Belgian Shepherd, there is probably a silver blanket that fits.

SIZE AND COLOR
The silver shade coat is available in six sizes: 35, 40, 48, 52, 60 and 70 cm.
The measurements refer to the length of the back, from the neck to the base of the tail. Measure before ordering. If you don't have a tape measure, you can use the leash and then compare it to a folding rule.
