Even when it's not gingerbread season, we think cookies with fun shapes are good to eat. So don't put the cookie mold away after Christmas, no, use it all year round. Why not make the shortbread in the shape of a moose's head, or maybe punch out a watermelon or for that matter press a moose out of sugarpaste and put it on the cake?
And if you use frosting and paint a red nose on the cookie, it can easily become Rudolph the reindeer.
