Centaura contains a high concentration of the active ingredient icaridin. It is a substance that the WHO recommends as a preventative against malaria mosquito bites. The spray is repellent, which does not mean that the insects die but that they stay away.
This smudge-free and effective spray protects against many different types of flying insects, both biting and stinging. The spray is easy to apply, you spray directly on yourself or the animal. The effect comes immediately and lasts for hours. On humans, the effect lasts for up to 11 hours for mosquitoes and flies, on horses the effect is estimated to be up to 24 hours. In addition, the agent protects against ticks for up to 14 hours.
The smudge-free spray is an approved insect repellent spray for both humans and horses. In Norway, France and Germany, the spray is also approved for use on dogs.
