It is not the fur that an allergic person reacts to, but the dog's dander and skin. But how allergenic a dog is is individual rather than breed specific. Puppies from the same litter can therefore be better or worse for an allergy sufferer.
The Swedish company Medi-Tec has, in collaboration with leading researchers in fur allergy and animal skin specialists, developed Allergenium special balm.
The dog balm strengthens the skin at the same time as the agent encapsulates the allergens. This in turn leads to a reduction in dandruff and scaly skin. In short, the dog becomes more allergy-friendly.
The conditioner spray can be used in conjunction with washing, but can also be used between washes. It is a way to care for the skin and is particularly suitable for dry or sensitive skin.
This allergy conditioner gives the fur a nice shine while it untangles tangles. Of course, the skin care product is perfume-free.
The spray is also recommended to be used preventively in places where the dog can easily get irritated skin or perhaps fungus, such as between toes or in skin folds.
Allergenius allergy balm is a spray. If the doggy thinks it's scary when you spray directly on the fur, you can instead spray in your hand and massage into the fur.
The balm should not be washed out, though it is a leave-in product.
