In Östergötland Sweden, near the border with Småland, you will find the farm Kalvsved. This is where the HUMLE family business is located. And this is where the handmade beeswax cerate is made.
A really good thing about the lip balm is that it is based on oils. This does not contain water or other commonly used additives such as sulfates, parabens or silicones. What is found here, however, are organic and natural ingredients.
The vegetable oils have been chosen based on their properties. The cerate does not feel sticky, but at the same time it is very thick.
HUMLE beeswax is meant to be used for lips. But the cerate is also suitable for cracked and chapped skin areas, for chapped cheeks, self-cracks and other dry skin areas.
The base, which consists of shea butter, beeswax and cocoa butter, gives the lips a soft and comfortable regreasing that lasts for a while. And beeswax in particular also allows the skin to breathe while protecting against the elements.
When the Swedish magazine ICA Kuriren tested different lip balm, HUMLE was chosen as the favorite. They wrote, among other things, that the beeswax cream moisturizes well, has a fairly long effect and a pleasant texture.
