- Disturbing smell of nosework
In the new Swedish regulations for nose work from 1 January 2022, there are several different disturbance odors that may be present in classes NW2 and NW3 as well as on odor tests. One of these disturbing scent is burnt birch.
The purpose of having disturbance scents is to ensure that the dog detects the smell of hydrolate and not a odor deviation, such as burnt wood.
The birch we use comes from Central Sweden and has since been cut to the size that the regulations say. The birch pieces have been burned on all sides until they are black.
Sold in a pack of three pieces.
