In obedience training when you want to train locked paws in a remote command. In strength training when you want to get the dog to stand correctly in its body. In balance ball training when you want a target that shows where the paws should be. The platform from LG Apporter has many uses.
LG Apporter is located in Dalarna. Here, the stuff is made from scratch, so this is a Swedish craft. The plate itself is made of wood painted blue or purple and at the bottom there are wooden legs. The upper side of the plate is covered with a durable rubber mat. Thanks to the carpet having a little structure, the doggy clearly feels that it is standing on the slab. The paw plate is stable and thanks to the non-slip protection underneath, the platform stays in place.
It is possible to use a platform alone, but it can also be used together with another paw pad, alternatively with a balance counter.
By letting the doggie stand on a target, it becomes clearer to the dog where it should put its paws. And it's great to have when you want to train a precise foot position or when you want to train the doggy to stand still with the right load in a simple but at the same time difficult way.
