The transparent jumping bar mimics a regular agility boom. By placing the bar over the wall or long jump, the dog gets a clearer visual reference and also gives the dog a feel, which makes it easier to lift its legs and jump with better technique. Sometimes, it seems that nothing more is needed to teach the agility dog to understand how to perform the obstacle.
The advantage of the bar being transparent is that it is not as prominent as a regular jumping bar. And when the dog has become more confident in how to perform the wall or long jump, the transparent bar can be gradually phased out without becoming a disturbing moment.
To keep the bar still on the long jump and wall, you use a bar support. It is a small piece of plastic that, thanks to its shape, can be turned in two ways. In one direction, it is suitable for placing on top of the wall and turned in the other direction and it is suitable for the long jump. And to make it even easier to use, the bar support is marked with a W (for wall) and an L (for long jump). Imagine how such a small thing can be a great help in agility training.
The boom is made of durable, UV-resistant polycarbonate and the bare support is made of PETG HP, which is a durable material known for its exceptional strength. Works well outdoors and has high resistance to both water and UV radiation. It is equipment that can withstand many outdoor training sessions without becoming brittle or breaking.
