We are so proud to be the only store to be able to offer this unique and specially made paw pad. In collaboration with LG Apporter, we have developed a robust target that wiggles back and forth.
Because Vicke wobbles which makes it harder for the dog to stand on the paw pad. But that is also the purpose. Because when your doggy is standing on the target, it has to work really hard to keep its balance. And that's exactly the thing about Vicke.
Here the dog gets to work on balance, strength, spatial perception and coordination. By the dog making small movements of the center of gravity, the plate will wobble and the doggy has to work to regain balance.
You decide for yourself whether the dog should have two folding plates or if one plate is enough. Maybe combine with some kind of balance ball? Just by letting the dog stand on Vicke, the dog will have to work, then try giving treats in different directions and heights so that the doggie can stretch or bend to the side. This will cause the platform to wobble and activate the small muscles.
It is in Dalarna, Sweden, that you will find the carpentry shop where the Vicke paw plate is manufactured. Made from scratch, so it's genuine Swedish craftsmanship. The plate is made of birch plywood painted black. The top of the plate is covered with a rubber mat, which gives the dog a really good grip. On the underside there is a black painted round rod which is the very reason why Vicke wiggles.
Sold in one pack. If you want both front and back legs, you need to buy two plates.
