FLAT BALANCE BALL WITH BUMPS
- Beginner ball for the dog's balance ball training
- All-round ball that fits a lot
- Pump is included
If you are going to start balance ball training with your dog, then a disc can be a good start. But it is a all-round ball that can be used on almost endless combinations with other balance balls.
The advantage of the slightly flatter balance ball is that it is easy to handle, both for you as the owner but also for the dog. It is stably in place and also not difficult for the doggy to get up on.
This is the medium size of disc, we have both larger and smaller in our range. The size of this balance ball, 36 cm in diameter, makes it suitable for both small and large dog breeds. It is also suitable for dogs who may be a little older or a little weak and who therefore can not get on a larger balance ball.
The disc has two different sides, one has small knobs and on the other side there are tactile spikes. The advantage of not having a completely smooth surface is that it gives a little acupressure and that the dog can activate the paws. By regulating the amount of air, you can also vary the degree of difficulty, the more air the rounder the disc and the more difficult it becomes for the dog.
What exercises can the doggie do on a balance board? Pretty much everything. Front paws on, hind paws on, all paws on. Lift one leg. Lift one front leg and one hind leg. Stand with front legs on the disc and move the hind legs around a turn to then change and lock your hind legs on the ball. There is a lot you can train on a balance ball - and it's fun too.
Regardless of whether it is about fitness or to rehab training after injury, the balance ball training helps the dog to get better body awareness, balance and coordination. In addition, the doggie builds strength in both large and small muscles and as the finishing touch you get a better collaboration.
The green large balance disc comes with a pump. Maximum weight 200 kg.

HANSESGÅRDEN TIPS
Your dog will probably get very tired from training with a balance ball. It is therefore important to read the doggie and keep the passport reasonably short. A few minutes of training is probably enough. If you have an injured or sick dog, we recommend that the dog is trained in consultation with medically knowledgeable staff.
The balance cushion can also be used for people. Try standing on one leg on the disc or why not do squats on it?
