There are many benefits to giving your dog carrot pellets. First, it is delicious and can liven up your dog's regular food, and second, carrots are rich in vitamins and minerals.
In addition to mixing your dog's dry food with carrot pellets, you can also use them for food enrichment. Go out on a lick mat or fill a food hide and let your dog lick and work to get the good and healthy stuff.
Carrots are low in calories and at the same time contain a lot of fiber. This combination means that carrots can be a good thing to give your dog as a supplement.

HOW DO I GIVE THE SUPPLEMENTARY FOOD?
Mix the pellets with water, let stand and soak for at least 10 minutes. The amount of water determines the consistency, some want a more watery mixture and others a more solid mixture. Then mix with the dog's regular food.
Keep in mind that dry pellets swell quite a lot and therefore need to be soaked before giving to the dog. One tablespoon of pellets will make about two dl of soaked food, which is the recommended daily amount for a large dog.
One tip is that you do not soak more than what is used at one meal.
