PÅL the bag is the thing you didn't know you really needed! A spacious bag that you fasten in the car and that you easily can carry with you as a backpack. And above all - much safer than having all these stuff loose in the car, which can be really dangerous if you have to brake abruptly.
Either you bring your PÅL home and pack it there and then carry it out to the car (obviously PÅL has practical carrying handles so that you can carry it on your back), or you let the PÅL sit in the car seat and load the items directly. Both variants of course work just as well.
When you are done and PÅL is full loaded, close the packing bag with the zipper and fasten the PÅL in the seat belt. The L-shape that PÅL has, makes the belt attaches well around the bag, the red handles on the sides provide extra safety. For added safety, there is a red strap that you attach around the car seat's head restraint.
PÅL also has several different pockets on the outside, so you can put in stuff that you easily can access during the trip.
