From the Finnish company Alvar, the dog treats are made precisely in Finland from Finnish raw materials.
Here you will find larvae and potatoes that have been chosen for their environmental impact. The larvae require a minimal amount of water and land compared to other protein sources that are usually found in dog food and dog treats. And potatoes have 15 times lower emissions than rice. In addition to the ingredients themselves leaving a smaller climate footprint than many other ingredients, they also have an advantage in that they come from the local area. In this way, there is no need for long transports, which also costs the planet's resources.
But another important thing when it comes to dog treats is of course the taste. The pellet-like pieces are soft enough that you can easily divide into smaller pieces if you wish.
