SHORT PLAY THAT FOLLOWS THE PUPPY'S DEVELOPMENT
- 55 exercises that suit the puppy
- Including videos with educational explanations
- Mixed exercises
Have you just brought home a new family member or are you going to pick up your little puppy from the breeder soon? Then you have a lot of fun ahead of you together with the dog.
Outside Skellefteå, you will find Rackarungarnas hundskola and Susanne Lindberg. She has worked with dogs for many years and is also behind several dog books. From before, there is also a nosework card deck that provides inspiration in training.
The puppy card deck consists of 55 cards that contain different exercises that all follow the dog's development, from when it is tiny to when it begins to approach adulthood. On each card there is a shorter text and also a QK code that you can scan to see a film.
The several minute long videos show in detail how the exercise can be done, step by step. The film also includes Susanne, who in an educational and clear way explains how she thinks about training.
Here, for example, you can find the Driving a car card. There you will get tips on how you can give the puppy a good experience of driving a car. Other cards available are how to quickly get the puppy to clean the room, how to get a good summons and how to train the doggy to be alone. Here are also cards on how to tag the puppy on toys, different treat hunts and dog meetings, but also how to start with paging, clicker training and rally obedience.
You choose how you use the puppy deck. One suggestion is that you take each card in order another is that you randomly take a card.
AUTHOR'S OWN WORDS ABOUT THE CARD GAME
"The puppy card game is a really good invention. It's better than a book, you get to see videos and clear instructions on how to do and different ways to develop. You get help, support and tips from me (instructor and dog geek with 50 years of experience) throughout the puppy's first year."
ABOUT THE CARD GAME
55 playing cards plus a blank card (so you can write up your own exercise).
