Susanne Lindberg, author of nosework books and owner of Rackarungarnas hundskola, has collected her best nosework exercises in a deck of cards. Each card contains a brief description of an exercise. To make it even clearer for you to understand the exercise, there is a QR code on each card. Scan it with your mobile and you will get a video showing how the training can be done.
Rackarungarnas Nose work deck looks just like any other deck, but here are 51 different cards with exercises. Here there are exercises with names such as Secret Arne, Strange container, Brutal chair exercise and Card game the ant. And instead of jokers, here are five blank cards so you can fill in your own nosework tasks.
The recorded videos are usually between two and five minutes long, but there are some that are a little longer. Here, Susanne explains in an educational and clear way how the exercise is supposed to go.
The deck is intended to suit most dogs, but there are exercises that are more aimed at the doggies who have had more time. Perhaps the task feels too challenging, then make it easier or have it as a target image a little further on.
How you choose to use your deck is of course up to you. You can randomly draw a card when you are out of ideas and need training tips. Or why not play with a friend and challenge each other in the exercises.
The purpose of the deck is to provide inspiration and variety, perhaps help you think outside the nosework box. To develop your training into something more and more fun.

"I hope you will like it as much as I do. The hope is that it will provide a lot of inspiration, new thoughts, new training sessions, new lessons and a more motivated, excited and well-trained dog that can search in all environments and under all conditions.
The exercises are not written in stone. You don't get a penalty if you don't do exactly what it says on the cards or shown in the videos. On the contrary, I want to encourage you to think new, twist things, make it your own thing so it suits your dog best. For all you drivers using the deck will be in your own development phase. Likewise your dogs. Everyone needs different. So get inspired - but adjust and adapt!"
