"For extreme chewers" it says on the packaging for Honey bone. The name alludes to the fact that the chew toy has ends that look like honey dippers. But there is no honey here, but it is made from an innovative nylon and wood composite material. And the sum of it is a solid bone that stands up to a lot of chewing.
The American company Sodapup has chosen to make the chewing bone patterned, which encourages many doggies to chew. There are many benefits to letting your dog chew; it can calm the doggy, while providing mental stimulation while keeping the dog busy. Chewing on a bone can also prevent destructive chewing on the wrong things.
Honey bone is food safe and is both non-toxic and BPA-free. Can be machine washed if needed.
We recommend that you always supervise the dog when it chews on the stick and that you remove the leg from the doggy if it breaks.
