Stinging road salt and sharp gravel underfoot can make a walk less than pleasant. That’s where a pair of dog boots comes in handy. From the Finnish brand Hurtta comes the "Weekend Warrior" boot. This shoe protects your dog's paws whether you're on city walks in winter or hiking along rocky forest trails.
The boots feature a soft yet durable rubber sole that moves with the paw while withstanding both the elements and wear and tear. The treaded underside ensures good grip on slippery surfaces. The neoprene exterior protects against cold, dirt, and wet conditions, while the soft fleece lining keeps paws warm—a real treat when the weather isn't at its best.
The boot can also be used to protect a sore or injured paw.
Hurtta Weekend Warrior Boots are suitable for year-round use, regardless of the weather or terrain—from wet forest paths to icy winter roads. They help protect paws against sharp stones, broken glass, and coarse gravel. The soft, flexible sole allows your dog to move freely while providing extra protection for their paws.
When it’s cold outside, the boots protect the paw pads from the chill. The boot is suitable for winter temperatures down to -25°C, though this naturally depends on how sensitive your dog is to the cold.
You can easily slip the boots on and secure them with an adjustable Velcro strap that wraps around the entire boot. They stay in place securely, even when your dog is running around. Reflective details along the edge of the boot also help keep your dog visible in the dark.
Please note that the boots are sold in packs of two; if you want boots for all four of your dog's paws, you will need to purchase two packs. Also, keep in mind that front paws are usually larger than hind paws.

We recommend taking a moment to measure your dog's paws carefully to ensure you find the right size. Place your dog on a sheet of paper, making sure they are putting their weight on the paw you are measuring. Trace around the paw and then measure the width of the paw from the outline.
