"BEST DAY - EVERYDAY" - BY MARIA BRANDEL AND SIV SVENDSEN
"Things a dog often does, he becomes really good at," it says on the back of this book. Unfortunately, this applies to both things that you want your dog to know - and what you do not want it to know. For that reason, it is probably great if the dog does quite often and it is up to you as a dog owner that it will be so.
"Best day - everyday" is the dog book which with a simple and concrete language and fun pictures shows suggestions on how you can train the dog to have a more fun everyday life together. The authors address various topics such as teaching the dog to wait, to walk on a leash and to come on call. Each section begins with a shorter text about the point of the topic and why it is good that the doggie knows it. Then follow informative illustrations of how the dog experiences the situation and the authors' suggestions for exercises.
Here is the dog training book that is suitable for both puppies and adult dogs. The book is also used as course literature at the Swedish Working Dog Club. Thanks to the simple language and the fun pictures, this book is suitable for both adult and younger readers. The airy layout and short texts mean that you will probably have time to read the book in one night, but it does nothing. Because this is a book about everyday obedience that you will probably want to read several times.
AUTHORS 'OWN WORDS ABOUT THE BOOK
"Our goal with this book is that just about everyone can and wants to read it. It should be so simple that everyone understands and is motivated to train their dog. Regardless of whether it is Aunt Agda with her little companion dog, the annoying neighbor with the reasonable dog or family who gets their first dog. It should be so easy to read that the family's children and young people understand and so interesting and fun that spouses and parents can not help but read it. "
